Inter Milan ultras group the Curva Nord are in a confident mood as the Nerazzurri head into 2024 and the second half of the season.

The Nord released a Christmas message on their official Instagram account.

The Nord have backed Inter throughout the last twelve months of numerous ups and downs.

Last season saw erratic form in Serie A which even put Inter qualifying for the Champions League in doubt.

Then, an imperious run in the final weeks of the campaign ensured that the team clinched a third place spot in the league table.

Meanwhile, Inter reached the Champions League final. The team also won both the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana.

In the summer, there was plenty of upheaval and chaos.

A dozen players left – including goalkeeper Andre Onana in a big money move to Manchester United, and veterans like Samir Handanovic, Marcelo Brozovic, and Danilo D’Ambrosio.

And a dozen players arrived. These included high-profile transfers like Marcus Thuram, Yann Sommer, Benjamin Pavard, and Davide Frattesi.

There were also dramatic soap operas like those with Romelu Lukaku and Lazar Samardzic.

Curva Nord Christmas Message: Inter “Masters Of Our Own Destiny”

After that frantic summer, Inter got off to a good start this season.

In the first five months of the season, the Nerazzurri have established themselves as frontrunners in Serie A.

Inter are currently four points clear of Juventus at the top of the table.

And in the Champions League, Inter have secured a spot in the knockout rounds for the third season in a row.

The last week or so has ended the year on the same tone as it’s always been for Inter.

The Nerazzurri bombed out of the Coppa Italia against Bologna, a major disappointment. But they immediately recovered with a convincing league win over Lecce to tighten their grip in the title race.

And that’s the tone that the Nord want to keep up.

They write, “Inter-Lecce. Even despite players missing, the team was solid.”

“We keep going on our journey, giving more and more.”

“We are masters of our own destiny!!” the Nord assert.

“Forza Inter, Avanti Curva Nord, and Merry Christmas!”
