Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi should overcome a fever to put himself at the team’s disposal against Genoa tomorrow night.

The 24-year-old skipped training due to sickness, but Sky Sport Italia (via FcInterNews) expects him to make the cut and earn a call-up.

The source believes the midfielder will take the trip to Liguria alongside his Nerazzurri teammates.

The former Sassuolo star has yet to establish himself as a regular starter this season. So he could be set to start on the bench this Friday.

The report also tips Stefan de Vrij to make his return to the squad. The Dutchman had sustained an injury during the rampant win over Napoli earlier this month.

So just like Frattesi, the Netherlands international will receive a call-up but he won’t be in the starting lineup.

Sky believes Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is only facing one selection dilemma ahead of tomorrow’s clash.

The manager will either decide to confirm Yann Bisseck at the back or drop him in favor of the returning Benjamin Pavard.

The Frenchman arrived at the club last summer as one of the most prominent signings in Serie A. He swiftly established himself as a regular starter on the right side of the back three.

But following Pavard’s injury in November, Bisseck has been making the most of the opportunities that came his way.

The 23-year-old German managed to prove his worth in recent weeks. He was even on the scoresheet last weekend against Lecce.

Therefore, we shall see if Inzaghi will reward Bisseck with another start or opt for the more traditional option now that Pavard has recovered.
