Inter Milan are still reportedly waiting to receive offers for Leicester City transfer target Stefano Sensi.

The 28-year-old returned to Appiano Gentile in the summer following a loan spell at Monza but now finds himself on the fringe of Simone Inzaghi’s tactical project.

The manager ousted the midfielder from the Champions League squad and has only given him three brief cameos in Serie A thus far this season.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri can do without the Italian’s services for the rest of the season. The management would certainly prefer to sell him in January, albeit on a cut price, rather than losing his services for free when his contract expires at the end of the season.

In recent days, Leicester City emerged as the favorites to land the player. Their manager Enzo Maresca even confirmed the English club’s interest in Sensi, admitting his admiration for the midfielder.

Nevertheless, the Leicester boss insisted that the club must first offload players before adding any newcomers.

Therefore, the Foxes have yet to make a concrete bid for Sensi, a fact also confirmed by Sky Sport Italia journalist Luca Marchetti (via FcInter1908).

Leicester City Haven’t Made An Official Bid Yet For Inter Milan Midfielder Stefano Sensi

The Italian journalist didn’t have much to report on the Nerazzurri due to the lack of action on the market front.

Marchetti notes that Piotr Zielinski’s saga is one for the future, so he doesn’t expect imminent developments on this track.

The Polish international has become a primary target for Inter for June. Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio will be looking to sign him on a free transfer once his contract with Napoli expires at the end of the season.
