Inter Milan star Benjamin Pavard is eager to prove his team’s superiority over Lazio in the Super Cup clash against Lazio.
The semi-final encounter kicks off in a few minutes at Al-Awwal Stadium in Riyadh.
The winner will book its place in Monday’s final against Napoli who toppled Fiorentina last night.
The Nerazzurri enter the mini-tournament as the Coppa Italia winners and will be looking to make it three Super Cup triumphs in a row.
However, Pavard is aiming to earn his maiden silverware with the club. The Frenchman joined the club last summer, completing a transfer from Bayern Munich in late August.

But while the Frenchman is well aware that the contest against Lazio won’t be a walk in the park, he feels that Inter is the stronger side.
The 2018 World Cup winner argues that the Nerazzurri’s results and performances this season speak for themselves.
“Before thinking about the final, we need to get there,” notes Pavard in his interview with Sport Mediaset via FcInterNews.
“We must focus on beating Lazio who are a great team. However, we’re thinking about our own gameplay.
“Believing that we are stronger is not risky. Everyone can see the results that speak volumes. Just look at what we’ve been doing on the pitch.
“I hope that this evening we can demonstrate our value. we are an extremely united team. Whoever takes to the field, showcases the same value.
“I believe that it’s not important who plays. It’s the group that counts.”
