Inter Milan have remained at 14th place in the Deloitte Money League for the clubs with highest revenues.

The Nerazzurri continue to be the third-highest-ranked Italian clubs after their revenues jumped 23%, to €379 million in the past year.

Inter enjoyed a strong year in 2023 in terms of revenues.

A big part of this is the result of reaching the Champions League final.

That achievement brought with it more than €100 million in prize money on its own.

Added to that is the fact that the Nerazzurri also brought in significant money from gate receipts during the knockout round matches at the San Siro en route to the final.

Among these was the Semifinal second leg against AC Milan in May.

That was the highest-earning match in the history of Italian football, in terms of gate receipts. It brought the Nerazzurri around €12 million.

Inter Still 14th In Deloitte Money League With €379M

There were some financial setbacks for Inter during the year of 2023.

The most significant, perhaps, was the collapse of a main shirt sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency company DigitalBits.

Inter did manage to salvage the situation somewhat.

They did so by leveraging their appearance in the Champions League final into a short-term sponsorhship deal with US-based streaming service Paramount+.

Paramount continues to be the main shirt sponsor for this season. They signed a one-year deal last summer.

On balance, however, it was a positive year for Inter in terms of revenues.

The Nerazzurri’s revenues increased right around €50 million, from €329 million or so the prior year.

That means that Inter brought in a total of €378.9 million in 2023.

That is a touch behind AC Milan’s €385.3 million last year.

That’s good enough for the Rossoneri to be second among Italian clubs.

Meanwhile, Juventus earned €432.4 million, making them the highest-earning Italian club.

And last season’s Serie A title-winners Napoli jumped 71% to around €267 million, making them a new entry in the top twenty.
