Inter Milan are ready to seal summer free transfers of Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski, with only the announcements missing now.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

By now, Inter’s efforts to sign Taremi and Zielinski are no big secret.

The Nerazzurri have sensed the opportunity to bring in both the Porto striker and the Napoli midfielder when their respect contracts expire at the end of June of this year.

And by all accounts, Inter have been in advanced negotiations with the pair’s representatives.

But the big question then concerns when the Nerazzurri will actually get the deals over the line.

And whilst the Gazzetta does not give a precise timeline, the newspaper gives a confident prediction. It is only a matter of time. Both Taremi and Zielinski will become Inter players.

“Only The Announcements Missing” For Inter To Sign Taremi & Zielinski

The opening of the January transfer window was a decisive trigger in Inter’s pursuit of both Taremi and Zielinski.

The Nerazzurri have been able to negotiate freely with the duo’s representatives for a few weeks now.

And by all accounts that’s what they have been doing.

Reports suggest that Taremi will sign a two-year deal with the option of a third. And that Zielinski will sign a three-year deal with the option of a fourth.

The Gazzetta add further confirmation that the talks are now truly down to the last details.

Inter could make the announcements virtually at any time given the state of the negotiations.

In Taremi, Inter will reinforce the attack with a player who has been very prolific in Portuguese football, and who offers a strong reference point in terms of holdup play.

And Zielinski is a Scudetto-winning midfielder who, at 29 years of age, is still very much in his prime.
