Monza CEO Adriano Galliani insists that Inter Milan youngster Valentin Carboni will remain at the U-Power Stadium until the end of the season.

The attacking midfielder is one of the most promising young jewels at Inter.

In the summer, the management decided to send the 18-year-old on loan to Monza so he could gain valuable Serie A experience.

Following a slow start to life in Brianza, Carboni has now cemented himself as an important player at Rafaelle Palladino’s court.

The Argentine has thus far contributed with two goals and three assists in 14 Serie A appearances.

The young man’s recent impressive displays promoted talks of a premature exit. Some suggested a January return to Inter, citing the club’s need for attacking reinforcement.

Yesterday, a circulating report claimed that West Ham United came forward with an offer for Carboni worth 11 million euros. The source added that Inter rejected the bid straight away.

For his part, Galliani reassured that the teenager will continue to sharpen his tools in Monza for the remainder of the campaign.

“Carboni is absolutely staying,” proclaimed the Monza CEO in a quick chat with FcInterNews.

The legendary AC Milan director doesn’t feel that the Biancorossi have an excess of attackers within their ranks.

“No, we don’t have many forwards. Papu Gomez isn’t available [due to doping suspension]. Vignato has groin problems so there aren’t many.

“Moreover, Palladino alternates between them during the match. So we need all of them.”
