Inter Milan will retain a certain percentage of future resale on midfielder Stefano Sensi upon his move to Leicester City.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. This percentage will be in addition to a total fee of around €3 million.

Sensi still remains an Inter player. But it looks like it is now really only a matter of time before the 28-year-old leaves the Nerazzurri after four and a half years.

Leicester have been chasing Sensi for much of the January transfer window.

It is the East Midlands side’s coach Enzo Maresca who has particularly pushed for the signing of the former Sassuolo midfielder.

Leicester had to offload a player in order to make room in their squad for Sensi.

In something of an ironic coincidence, it was former Inter youth team midfielder Cesare Casadei who left Leicester. The 21-year-old’s loan spell from Chelsea was cut short.

And since then, it has looked to be only a matter of time before Sensi’s transfer to Leicester would be wrapped up.

Inter To Receive A Percentage Of Future Resale On Stefano Sensi Move To Leicester

Sensi should complete his move to Leicester within the next few days.

The 28-year-old will be part of the Nerazzurri’s squad for this evening’s trip to Tuscany to face Fiorentina in Serie A.

But then Sensi will travel to English in order to undergo his medicals and sign his contract with Leicester.

The two clubs have fully ironed out all of the details on the move.

Leicester will pay Inter a fee of around €3 million. This will be with the inclusion of all add-ons.

But that’s not all, the Corriere reports.

The newspaper also anticipates that Leicester would also give Inter a percentage of future resale of Sensi, should they sell the midfielder for a fee at any point.

The Corriere does not specify how much this would be, however.
