Thomas Zilliacus feels that if he took over at Inter Milan, he would aim for the level of Man City and Real Madrid.

The Finnish billionaire spoke to Italian news outlet L’Interista, outlining the ambitions that he has for the Nerazzurri.

Finnish businessman Zilliacus remains one of the names linked with trying to buy Suning from Inter.

And the businessman himself has hardly hidden his interest.

On the contrary, Zilliacus has detailed his hopes and ambitions if he were to become Inter owner.

That hardly means that this is likely in the near future.

Reports suggest that current Inter owners Suning are working to stay at the helm. They are in advanced negotiations with Oaktree Capital to extend the deadline of their loan.

This would be a crucial step for Suning to maintain control of the Nerazzurri.

But if Suning were to decide to sell, then Zilliacus would be one of the interested parties, undoubtedly.

And the Finn has furthermore confirmed that he still has an offer to Suning on the table.

Zilliacus Dreams Of Bring Inter To Level Of Man City & Real Madrid

Of the current Inter team, Zilliacus commented that “The results of this season have been fantastic, thanks to a perfectly balanced team and an exceptional coach.”

“If my group were granted the privilege of becoming owners of Inter, we would like to make sure that the club to consistently reach the level of Manchester City and Real Madrid.”

“This requires money,” the Finn noted.

“Which my group can provide through a combination of investments and new services for the global fanbase.”

“We believe this can generate more revenue than all current revenue streams put together,” Zilliacus said.

“Our work would be for the club and for the fans,” he went on.

“We’d be custodians for the great institution that is Inter.”

“We too are fans,” Zilliacus added. “Without fans, there is no club.”
