Bournemouth have zero plans of signing Inter Milan keeper Andrei Radu at the end of the season when his loan expires.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that it is virtually certain that the 26-year-old will leave the Nerazzurri for good during the summer.

At the moment, Radu is on loan with Premier League club Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old joined the Cherries on a season-long loan deal during the summer prior to this season.

Moreover, that loan deal contains a purchase option. Bournemouth can sign Radu on a permanent basis at the end of the season for 8 million.

But FCIN confirm that there would be not chance of that happening.

The reason for this is hardly difficult to see.

Radu is completely our of favour at the Vitality Stadium this season.

The Romanian has made a grand total of five appearances across all competitions during the campaign.

Veteran former Juventus, Fiorentina, and Barcelona keeper Neto remains the Number One under Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraola.

And Mark Travers has become the second-choice as far as backup keepers go.

Therefore, Iraola clearly sees Radu as the third-choice keeper, and not a player who has any future on the English south coast.

Bournemouth Will Not Sign Andrei Radu On Permanent Deal From Inter

As such, FCIN note, it is now very clear that Radu will be back at Inter at the end of this season.

But that does not mean that the Romanian will be there for long.

Radu is hardly a player with a future at the Nerazzurri.

The 26-year-old never really managed to find form during any of the chances that he’s had at Inter.

This culminated in an infamous howler away to Bologna during the 2021-22 season. That was the match that effectively saw the Nerazzurri squander the title race.

Given this lack of confidence at Inter and the absence of a pathway into the lineup, Radu will be on his way.

And the Romanian’s current contract with the Nerazzurri runs out at the end of June 2025.

Therefore, there would be no real prospect for Radu to leave on another loan deal.

As such, Inter’s plan is clear. The Nerazzurri will look to finally sell Radu on a permanent basis this summer, one way or another.
