Inter Milan defender Alessadnro Bastoni notched an assist in yesterday’s Serie A draw with Napoli.
The 24-year-old was the player to set up Matteo Darmian for the Nerazzurri’s opening goal.
Assisting goals is becoming a real habit for Bastoni.
And it’s not a new one either. The Italian international’s creativity and range of passing has been a real asset for his teammates for years.
Football statistics account Opta note that Bastoni reached an impressive milestone with the assist.
They highlighted in a tweet, “4 – Alessandro Bastoni, who provided an assist for the first time in two #SerieA matches in a row, is the only central defender with at least two assists in each of the last four top-flight seasons (since 2020/21 ). Brand.”
