Simone Inzaghi will put pen to paper on a new Inter Milan contract shortly after the end of the season.

This according to Italian news outlet The outlet anticipate that the 48-year-old will sign an extension until the end of June 2027.

At the moment, Inzaghi is under contract with Inter until the end of next June.

Therefore, an extension would naturally be in order for the former Lazio coach, provided he is to stay at the club for next season.

And there is certainly no question that Inzaghi will be Inter coach next season.

The Nerazzurri are certainly happy to keep the current coach at the helm. After all, Inzaghi has just finished guiding the team to the Serie A title.

That capped off three seasons in which Inter won the Coppa Italia twice, the Supercoppa Italiana on three occasions, and reached the Champions League final.

Meanwhile, Inzaghi could have suitors were he to leave Inter this summer.

Reports suggest that the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea are among the clubs eyeing up Inzaghi.

But for his part, the 48-year-old has no intention of going anywhere. At least for the time being.

Simone Inzaghi To Pen New Inter Contract At End Of Season

There have already been talks between Inzaghi’s representatives and Inter.

The sense is that, rather than a one-year bumper contract – which is what Inzaghi has signed in each of the past two seasons – the former Lazio boss will instead sign a new two-year deal.

Therefore, Inzaghi is set to extend his contract until the end of June 2027.

It is only a matter of time before that happens. According to Calciomercato, Inzaghi should put pen to paper not long after the end of the current season.

Naturally, the new deal will come with a wage increase.

CM anticipate that Inzaghi’s new deal will be worth 6 million net per season, plus an additional 500,000 in add-ons.
