Christian Chivu is grateful to Inter Milan for allowing him to realize his dreams.

The Romanian gave an emotional farewell message to InterTV, via FCInterNews, as he prepares to depart from his position as the coach of the Nerazzurri’s Under-19 side.

Chivu has been the coach of Inter’s Primavera, or Under-19, team for the last three years.

The former defender took over in the role in the summer of 2021. Prior to that, he had held other youth team coaching positions at the Nerazzurri.

Before he began coaching, Chivu enjoyed a decorated playing career.

Chivu was a key part of the Inter team that won the European Treble consisting of the Serie A title, the Coppa Italia, and the Champions League in the 2009-10 season.
