Inter Milan will soon announce their agreement with Betsson Sport who will become the club’s main shirt sponsor.

The Swedish betting company will replace Paramout+ whose contract will expire at the end of the season.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FcInterNew) explains, the two parties’ agreement dates back to several months ago.

The two sides will soon ink a three-year contract that would provide the Nerazzurri with 30 million euros per season.

This will be a major upgrade on the club’s agreement with Paramount which only generated 11.5 million per year.

Hence, these surging figures depict the club’s growing status on the international stage.

As the pink newspaper tells it, the club would have announced the deal if it wasn’t for the recent ownership debacle.

Last week, Suning missed the deadline to repay their debt to Oaktree. Therefore, the Chinese group had to relinquish their majority shares at the club in favor of the US-based investment company.

Therefore, a general assembly meeting will take place on Tuesday to elect a new club president along with a new board of directors.

Once these corporate issues are sorted, the club will be able to resume its daily operations as usual.

This will include signing a contract extension with club captain Lautaro Martinez and ratifying their accord with Betsson.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri will be searching the market for a new sleeve sponsor as their contract with eBay is also expiring.

Hence, the source speculates that Oaktree could try to explore the American market in search of a new commercial partner.
