Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is currently with the Turkey national team.
The 30-year-old is his national team’s captain. He has been for a couple of years now, following the retirement from international football of Burak Yilmaz.
This evening, Turkey take on Italy in a warm-up friendly for EURO 2024.
Then, in less than two weeks’ time, Calhanoglu and his teammates will kick off the Euros with their group stage opener against Georgia.
