Liverpool, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid are ready to join Inter Milan in the race to sign Athletico Paranaense and Brazil goalkeeper Bento.

This according to French outlet SportsZone. The outlet report in a Tweet that the competition to sign the 24-year-old is heating up.

Bento may well have played his last game for his current club Athletico Paranaense already.

The Brazilian’s form over the last year has led to him getting a call-up for his national team.

Bento made his senior debut for the Selecao in a friendly against England in March. He is also expected to be part of the Brazil squad at the Copa America.

Meanwhile, there is also growing transfer interest in Bento’s signature.

The likeliest outcome this summer therefore appears to be a move to a club in Europe for the 24-year-old.

Liverpool, AC Milan & Atletico Madrid Rival Inter For Bento

The question, therefore, could be which club will win the race for Bento’s signature.

Inter are extremely keen on signing the Brazilian.

The Nerazzurri have been chasing Bento since last summer. And reports have indicated that the player himself has already said yes to the move.

Bento is Inter’s priority target as a backup goalkeeper for next season.

They want the Brazilian to take the place of Emil Audero as the backup keeper to Yann Sommer. And then, after a season as the deputy to Sommer, Bento could inherit the starting shirt.

However, reports SportsZone, Inter are not the only team following Bento.

There is also interest from the Premier League, in the form of Liverpool. And Atletico Madrid would be keen to bring Bento to Spain.

Then, there are also Inter’s city rivals AC Milan also in the hunt for the 24-year-old goalkeeper, reports SportsZone.

Reports indicate that Paranaense would want a fee of around €20 million to sell Bento.
