Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani was unable to help the Albania national team to the knockouts of EURO 2024.
The Eagles lost 2-1 to Italy in their group stage opener. That was despite taking an early lead, in a match which saw Asllani take on several Inter teammates.
Then Albania snatched a dramatic 2-2 draw with Croatia.
And on the final day of the group stage, Asllani and his teammates lost to group winners Spain.
Nevertheless, it was an impressive individual tournament from former Empoli midfielder Asllani. And one which the Albania fans were able to enjoy some memorable moments from.
