Inter Milan have reportedly struck an agreement with BPER Banca who have bought the naming rights of the club’s training center at Appiano Gentile.

The center has been bearing Suning’s name over the past few years. However, the Chinese Group has lost control over the club after failing to repay Oaktree Capital’s debt by the due date which was set on May 20th.

Therefore, the American investment company is now in charge of the Italian champions after taking control over Suning’s majority shares.

The new club owners are thus eager to remove all traces belonging to their predecessors. Hence, they have been working on renaming the club’s training center.

According to Calcio e Finanza, Inter have closed an agreement with BPER Banca who have acquired the center’s naming rights.

The agreement would see the Italian champions collect circa 3 million euros per year.

But aside from the commercial name, the training center will continue to bear the name of Inter’s legendary club president, the late Angelo Moratti.

The new campaign will witness major changes in the club’s commercial partners, as the source notes.

The most significant change is related to the main shirt sponsor, with Betsson replacing Paramout+.

The two parties have already made the official announcement at the start of the week.

Furthermore, Inter will continue their collaboration with U-Power. But on the other hand, the Nerazzurri are still searching for a new sleeve sponsor to replace eBay.
