Inter Milan have named their price for Stefan de Vrij who has recently emerged as a serious transfer target for Al-Ittihad.

As reported last night, the Saudi Pro League giants will soon appoint former AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli, and the latter is looking to bring along some familiar Serie A figures, including the Nerazzurri defender.

The 32-year-old is coming off a solid campaign with Inter. This allowed him to reclaim a starting berth with the Dutch national team which is currently participating in EURO 2024.

According to FcInterNews, the Italian champions would be willing to sell de Vrij for an offer worth 15 million euros.

The Nerazzurri deems this figure sufficient given the player’s age and the fact that his contract will expire next summer.

The source confirms that At-Ittihad is the Dutchman’s most keen admirer at the moment. The Jeddah-based side is willing to sway the former Lazio star by offering him a lucrative contract.

However, Al-Ittihad isn’t the only Saudi club to show interest in the experienced defender.

For their part, Inter will be pushing for the transfer, as it would allow them to generate the required funds to re-enter the race for Alessandro Buongiorno.

Inter Milan Willing To Sell Stefan De Vrij To Al-Ittihad For €15M

Napoli have reportedly agreed a transfer fee with Torino worth 35 million euros plus 5M in bonuses.

However, the Partenopei have yet to reach a full agreement with the player and his agent Beppe Riso who left the door open for Inter.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri are hoping to make a late onslaught, but must first raise funds.

Hence, they’re aiming to sell de Vrij swiftly to try their luck for Buongiorno before they run out of time.
