Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has captained Turkey to the quarterfinals of EURO 2024. But not any further.

Turkey suffered the heartbreak of elimination at the hands of the Netherlands in the quarterfinals.

Turkey had led at halftime, deservedly after an excellent first half performance.

However, the Dutch fought back and won the match in the second half. Calhanoglu’s Inter teammates Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij went on to the semifinals to face England.

Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu took to Instagram to thank the Turkey fans for their support at EURO 2024.
