Striker Mehdi Taremi is ready to take full advantage of preseason preparations with Inter Milan after he completes his move.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, report that the Iranian international is raring to go as he is set to undergo his medicals and complete his move on Friday.

31-year-old Iranian international striker Taremi is in Milan.

The former Persepolis and Rio Ave striker is ready to complete his move to Inter.

Taremi is already undergone medicals on the transfer. But on Friday, he’ll have one final round of medicals.

Then, the Iranian can sign his contract.

Taremi has already ceased to become a Porto player after his deal with the Portuguese giants expired at the end of last month. He will join Inter on a free transfer.

Striker Mehdi Taremi Keen To Make The Most Of Inter Preseason

Taremi’s medicals and contract signing should line up nicely with Inter’s preseason.

This weekend, the Nerazzurri’s training camp kicks off.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will not have a complete squad at his disposal. Far from it.

There are still several players active in international tournaments, or players still on extended holidays due to their international duty.

But one player Inzaghi will be able to work with right from the start of the training camp is Taremi.

The 31-year-old is excited to make the most of the opportunity.

Inzaghi will work closely with Taremi on tactical work, getting the former Porto striker up to speed on what he expects from players in the front two of his 3-5-2 system.

Taremi is a striker who has hit double figures in every one of his professional seasons apart from his first campaign with Iranian giants Persepolis.

Therefore, Inter coach Inzaghi has high expectations for the Iranian international.

And the preseason training will therefore be a vital opportunity for Taremi to really get himself up to speed.
