Everton and Feyenoord have made offers to try and sign Inter Milan target Tanner Tessmann from Venezia.

This according to US outlet Pro Soccer Wire, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri are still the favourites to sign Tessmann, but that the competition for his signature is still there.

In the last few weeks, Inter have been negotiating to sign 22-year-old US international Tessmann from Venezia.

The Venezia midfielder has emerged as something of a surprise target for Inter in the window.

Inter would hardly be trying to sign Tessmann for the immediate future.

Next season, Inter will have all of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella, Kristjan Asllani, Davide Frattesi, and Piotr Zielinski as midfield options.

Therefore, there would not be any room for Tessmann in the squad.

Rather, the Nerazzurri see the American as more of a target for the longer term.

Therefore, Inter’s intention would reportedly be to sign Tessmann this summer, and then loan him out for next season. This could even be back to Venezia.

Everton & Feyenoord Rival Inter Milan To Sign Tanner Tessmann

In the last week or so, it has looked as though Inter have just about sealed a deal for Tessmann.

The Nerazzurri have been in advanced talks with Venezia for the 22-year-old.

And while Tessmann is currently with the US national Olympic team, Inter could aim to complete his signing when he is back.

However, Pro Soccer Wire report, things are not done just yet.

That is because, according to the US outlet, two other clubs have also made Tessmann offers.

One is Everton, aiming to bring the 22-year-old to the Premier League. And then from the Eredivisie, Feyenoord are keen and have made their offer.

Therefore, Tessmann could have other options besides Inter.

Nevertheless, for the moment the Nerazzurri are currently the team furthest ahead by far to sign the US international.
