Striker Mehdi Taremi is among the notable new faces as Inter Milan officially begin their preseason training camp for the 2024-25 campaign.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, note that there are three summer signings already on the very first day of training.

Today, Inter’s preseason training camp officially kicks off.

There is far from a full squad available to Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi.

Numerous players in Inter’s squad have been in action at the Euros and the Copa America this summer.

Notably, Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez and young attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni are part of the Argentine squad who face Colombia in the final of the latter competition tomorrow.

Therefore, there will be a trickle of players returning from their international duty and summer vacations.

But already at the start of the preseason training camp, there are a few notable players beginning work.

Mehdi Taremi Among New Faces As Inter Milan Begin 2024-25 Preseason Training

Striker Mehdi Taremi is now an Inter player. The Nerazzurri finally officially confirmed the Iranian’s signing today.

And Taremi is not waiting around to begin his work.

The Corriere report that the 31-year-old is in today’s first training session of preseason.

The same is true of new Inter goalkeeper Josep Martinez, and young midfielder Luka Topalovic.

Meanwhile, Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski – who joined Inter on a free transfer from Napoli – will be in training in a few days, after his post-EURO 2024 vacation.

Zielinski will be in training on July 18th. So will Albania international midfielder Kristjan Asllani.

On the 24th, meanwhile, Inter’s Italian international players will be back in training. Then, on the 26th, Marko Arnautovic will begin his preseason.

Yann Sommer and Hakan Calhanoglu will be back in training on the 30th and 31st of this month. And on the third of August, Stefan de Vrij, Denzel Dumfries, Marcus Thuram, and Benjamin Pavard will begin preseason.

Lastly, the Argentine duo of Martinez and Carboni will be in training on the eighth of August.

But in the meantime, the Corriere report, all of Raffaele Di Gennaro, Francesco Acerbi, Yann Bisseck, Carlos Augusto, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are beginning training today.
