Newly-promoted Como are set to sign Inter Milan Under-19 defender Jean Castegnaro on loan for next season.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCinterNews.

This summer, teenage defender Castegnaro is set to leave Inter on loan.

The 18-year-old is a player who has come through the youth ranks at the Nerazzurri.

Last season, Castegnaro played for Inter’s Primavera or Under-19 team. He played under the coaching of former Nerazzurri, Roma, and Ajax midfielder Christian Chivu.

But now, Castegnaro is ready to make the step up into senior football.

The only question has been where the teenager would go, with a few clubs in both Serie A and Serie B vying for his signature.

From the top flight, the likes of Empoli and Como have reportedly shown an interest in signing Categnaro.

And according to Sky, it is the latter who will complete a deal to sign the 18-year-old for next season.
