Former Inter Milan captain Samir Handanovic turned forty yesterday.
The Slovenian spent eleven years with the Nerazzurri. He joined from Udinese in the summer of 2012, and departed last summer.
During his time at Inter, Handanovic made a total of 455 appearances for the club.
Handanovic won the Serie A title while wearing the captain’s armband at Inter. He also won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana twice each.
Inter took Instagram to wish former captain Samir Handanovic a happy fortieth birthday.
