Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Pio Esposito is set to have his medicals ahead of another loan to Serie B club Spezia soon.

This according to Italian outlet Calciospezia.it. They report that the 18-year-old is currently in the city of Spezia, and just awaiting the go-ahead from Inter to undergo his medicals.

Inter striker Francesco Pio Esposito got his first experience in senior football last season. He was out on loan with Spezia for the campaign.

The 18-year-old came through the youth ranks at Inter. He had starred for the Primavera or Under-19 team in the season prior to last.

Pio Esposito may have only scored three goals for Spezia last campaign.

However, the teenage striker impressed with his overall performances for the Ligurian side.

The sense is that, after a positive first campaign in senior football spent in Serie B, Pio Esposito would be ready to try his hand in the top flight.

Pio Esposito’s form on loan with Spezia last season has attracted some interest from Serie A.

The likes of Lecce, Parma, and Cagliari are reportedly targeting the young striker. And Torino have also pushed to sign Pio Esposito.

But in the end, no team in Serie A has made the decisive push to sign the teenage striker.

Despite Esposito’s impressive performances last season and potential, the Inter striker is evidently deemed not quite ready to play at the top flight level just yet.

Inter Striker Pio Esposito Set For Medicals On Another Spezia Loan

Accordingly, it is back at Spezia that Pio Esposito will be playing next season.

The teenage striker will have a familiar environment after having spent last season on loan with the Ligurians.

Spezia will once again loan in Pio Esposito.

At the moment, Calciospezia.it reports, the 18-year-old is in the city.

Pio Esposito is ready to complete the transfer.

The one thing necessary now is for the Nerazzurri to give the decisive green light. Then, Pio Esposito can undergo his medicals and sign his contact to become a Spezia player again.
