Ligue 1 side Brest are keen to sign Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano after securing an historic Champions League spot.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

23-year-old Uruguayan international striker Satriano spent last season on loan with Brest in Ligue 1.

The Inter striker scored four goals and made four assists in Ligue 1. He made a total of 33 appearances in the league.

And Brest reached a surprise qualification for the Champions League, finishing third in the table.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Brest remain interested in keeping Satriano.

The newspaper report that this time around, they want to sign him on a permanent basis rather than another loan.

Satriano has in fact been on loan at Brest twice. He had previously spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan with the French club.

And during the 2022-23 campaign, Satriano had been out on loan with Empoli in Serie A.

Brest Want To Sign Inter Striker Martin Satriano On A Permanent Basis This Summer

As far as Inter are concerned, they are aiming to sell Satriano this summer. They would like to sell him on a permanent basis rather than loan him out again.

There are a few different possible destinations for the Uruguayan.

The likes of Stuttgart, Real Betis, and Valencia have all registered an interest in the 23-year-old’s signature.

And Brest are certainly putting their hat into the ring to try and sign Satriano.

The 23-year-old helped the Ligue 1 club become one of the major surprise packages in the French top flight last season, and they would like to continue to rely on his services.

In the meantime, Satriano is part of Inter’s preseason training camp.

However, the Uruguayan did not participate in last week’s friendly match against Lugano.

This was because there was some concern about Satriano’s fitness.

Naturally, Inter do not want there to be any risk of Satriano picking up an injury that would jeopardize his prospective transfer this summer.
