Piotr Zielinski is already showing signs of fitting into Inter Milan’s tactical system, whilst Mehdi Taremi is a “certainty.”

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Both of Inter’s big name free transfer signings for this summer are now part of the squad in the team’s training camp.

Striker Taremi has been part of the camp since the very beginning.

Meanwhile, midfielder Zielinski arrived at the end of last week.

Yesterday, both Taremi and Zielinski started in Inter’s friendly match against Serie C team Pergolettese. And the signs from both of the pair were positive.

Zielinski Already Fitting In At Inter – Taremi A “Certainty”

For midfielder Zielinski, yesterday was the first time that the Polish international took to the pitch as an Inter player.

The 30-year-old is only just starting to learn the role of central midfielder in Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 system.

But in the view of the Corriere, the early signs are positive.

Zielinski was able to link up well with his teammates. The former Napoli midfielder’s positioning was appropriate, and he showed flashes of his impressive passing game.

There will be a few more weeks for Zielinski to find even more chemistry with his new teammates. Particularly when other midfielders like Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu.

But for now, the Pole looks to understand what the task ahead of him is.

And for Taremi, the Iranian international looks to be even further along in his progress.

Yesterday the 32-year-old found the back of the net. This was already his third goal of preseason.

Taremi arrives at Inter with a reputation as a relentlessly consistent goalscorer.

And it is starting to become apparent why that is the case.

The former Porto striker’s positioning and instincts have seen him lead the line for Inter in a way that hardly shows the fact that he’s only been at the club for a couple weeks.
