Inter Milan are expecting around €25 million in revenues from shirt sales after releasing the 2024-25 home shirt.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter are less than a month away from officially beginning their 2024-25 Serie A season. They will play their first match of the campaign against Genoa on Saturday, August 17th.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have already played two preseason friendly matches.
These came against the likes of Lugano and Pergolettese.
Inter played those first two friendlies in a training kit. But the next time that the Nerazzurri take to the pitch in preseason, in a friendly match against Las Palmas, it should be in their new home kit for next season.
Naturally, the overall colour scheme of the new Inter kit is the same as ever.
The Nerazzurri will be sporting their iconic black and blue vertical stripes.
But on the left-hand side of the kit, there is a bit of a novel twist from kit-marker Nike.
Inter recently signed a long-term extension with Nike. The US apparel company – which began their partnership with Inter in 1998 – will continue to design the club’s kits until at least 2031.
This upcoming season’s edition of the Nerazzurri kit contains a vertical column with diagonal black and blue stripes. This runs along the left-hand side of the shirt.
The usual black shorts also continue the diagonal black and blue pattern.
Inter Milan Expecting €25M Revenue From Shirt Sales In 2024-25
Meanwhile, of course, Inter’s kit for next season will feature the Scudetto on the chest of the shirts. This is the reward for winning the Serie A title last season.
Moreover, there is another important new feature on the Inter kit for next season.
Above the Nerazzurri’s crest – which is on the centre of the kit this time around – there will be two stars rather than one.
It is these two novelties that are particularly driving demand for this edition of Inter’s shirt.
According to the Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri are anticipating that they will bring in more revenues from this shirt than from any that they have in the past.
The newspaper report that Inter expect to cash in to the tune of €25 million.
