Out-of-favour Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa has interest from Greek and Turkish clubs.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla. He reports in a YouTube video that the Nerazzurri could offload the Argentine in the last ten days or so of the summer transfer window.

One player who Inter are certainly looking to get rid of once and for all this summer is Correa.

The former Sevilla and Sampdoria forward joined Inter from Lazio in the summer of 2021.

Correa had joined as part of an attacking reshuffle following the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea. He came in alongside Edin Dzeko.

And Correa followed coach Simone Inzaghi, with whom he had worked successfully at the Biancocelesti.

Therefore, the expectations were fairly high for Correa in an Inter shirt. Particularly considering that the Nerazzurri had parted with a not-insubstantial fee to sign the Argentine.

Things just never seemed to work out for Correa at Inter, though.

The Argentine dealt with some fitness problems, which seemed to hamper his efforts to find consistent form.

Last summer, Correa went out on loan to Marseille. However, it was a disastrous loan spell that saw him fail to score or assist a goal.

The Ligue 1 club had a purchase option, which would have become an mandatory obligation in the event that they had qualified for this season’s Champions League.

But given that Marseille failed to do so, it is hardly a surprise that they did not decide to sign Correa on a permanent basis.

That means that the 29-year-old is back at Inter.

And there is no doubt that the Nerazzurri will try and offload Correa before the end of the transfer window.

According to SportItalia transfer expert Pedulla, however, it may not be right away. Inter could wait and see what kinds of offers arise for the Argentine.

River Plate are keen on bringing the 29-year-old back to his home country Argentina.

There has been interest from Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray. As there has been from the Saudi Pro League.

Then, two of Correa’s former clubs have sounded out a surprise return in the form of Lazio and Sevilla.

And recent rumours have also linked the out-of-favour Inter forward with Monza and Real Betis.

Then, there are also AEK Athens pushing to sign Correa this summer.

Inter will assess all the options as far as selling Correa, and then try and get a deal done in the last week or two of the transfer window.
