Inter Milan and Juventus are highly unlikely to swap the services of Davide Frattesi and Federico Chiesa this summer.

Over the last few days, some reports in the Italian press claimed that the two arch-rivals could pull off an exchange deal.

Chiesa appears to be heading towards the Juventus exit door. The 26-year-old’s contract will expire next year, so the club wouldn’t want to risk losing him for free in 2025.

Moreover, the Italian winger is reportedly inapt to Thiago Motta’s tactical system.

On the other hand, Frattesi has yet to establish himself as a regular starter at Simone Inzaghi’s court.

Nevertheless, Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin denies the story, deeming it highly unlikely. He believes that Chiesa and Juventus will eventually find a solution.

“The exchange deal between Chiesa and Frattesi? The chances of seeing Chiesa at Inter next season are very slim, almost zero,” said the journalist on his YouTube channel via FcInter1908.

“I think that in the end, Juventus will find a solution. It is not in anyone’s interest to wage war. Inter at the moment have no room for Chiesa.”

Nevertheless, Biasin leaves the door open for a future transfer to Inter, in case Chiesa becomes a free agent.

“If Chiesa and Juventus were to come to blows and his contract expires, I am moderately convinced that Inter would make their attempt to get him for free.

“But I believe that in the end, Juve and Chiesa will reach a solution.

“I think an exchange with Frattesi is unlikely. In any case, there will be a problem with playing time, as Frattesi legitimately wants to play more.”

Moreover, it was reported earlier today that Inter have no intention to split paths with Frattesi this summer.
