Inter Milan teenager Valentin Carboni is reportedly eager to make the move to Olympique Marseille this summer.

The 19-year-old is one of the hottest prospects to emerge from the club’s youth ranks over the past few years.

The attacking midfielder spent the last campaign on loan at Monza. His exploits at the U-Power Stadium earned him a call-up to the Copa America.

Although he only played a limited role, the youngster returned home with an invaluable gold medal.

But despite his great promise, Carboni won’t be able to carve himself enough space at Inter this season.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri are looking to send him away once more before the end of the transfer session.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, Carboni is pushing to join Roberto De Zerbi’s revolution at Marseille.

The Argentine would like to develop his game under the guidance of the former Sassuolo and Brighton coach.

However, the pink newspaper insists that Inter won’t relinquish control over the player’s future.

Inter Milan Youngster Valentin Carboni To Join Marseille On Loan

The Italian champions value the 19-year-old at around 35 million euros. Yet, they believe his stocks could further rise on the back of an impressive campaign in Ligue 1.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri will send Carboni on loan to Marseille.

The Southern French club should have an option to buy the young player at the end of the season. Nevertheless, Inter will insert a buy-back clause that allows them to retain control over the Argentine’s future.

Il Corriere dello Sport (via FcInterNews) is also reporting a similar arrangement regarding the transfer formula.

The attacking midfielder’s contract with the Serie A giants is valid until June 2028.
