Inter Milan and Brest have agreed a deal for striker Martin Satriano.

This according to French football journalist Santi Aouna. He reports in a tweet that now the Ligue 1 club must find an agreement with the Uruguayan international.

23-year-old Uruguayan international striker Satriano spent last season on loan with Brest in Ligue 1.

The Inter striker scored four goals and made four assists in Ligue 1. He made a total of 33 appearances in the league.

And Brest reached a surprise qualification for the Champions League, finishing third in the table.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Brest remain interested in keeping Satriano.

The newspaper report that this time around, they want to sign him on a permanent basis rather than another loan.

Satriano has in fact been on loan at Brest twice. He had previously spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan with the French club.

And during the 2022-23 campaign, Satriano had been out on loan with Empoli in Serie A.

As far as Inter are concerned, they are aiming to sell Satriano this summer. They would like to sell him on a permanent basis rather than loan him out again.

There are a few different possible destinations for the Uruguayan.

The likes of Stuttgart, Real Betis, and Valencia have all registered an interest in the 23-year-old’s signature.

Inter Milan & Brest Reach Martin Satriano Agreement – Player Yet To Be Convinced

However, Brest have moved to bring Satriano back on a permanent basis.

The French club are keen to keep their squad together from last season as they approach the new challenge of life in the Champions League.

According to French journalist Aouna, Brest have already shaken hands with Inter on a deal.

However, he reports, Satriano himself is yet to be convinced.

The 23-year-old is still considering whether a permanent transfer to Brest would be the right next move for him.

Therefore, the Ligue 1 club will have to reach an agreement with Satriano and his representatives if they are to seal a deal.
