Inter Milan are hoping that with sales of forwards already in their squad they can finance a move for another striker.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They name Joaquin Correa, Marko Arnautovic, Valentin Carboni, and Martin Satriano as the four players Inter could offload.

Inter are still considering a move for one more attacking player before the summer transfer window closes.

The Nerazzurri have a little over a month in which to make a move.

Inter’s dream target would be Genoa forward Albert Gudmundsson.

The Icelander scored fourteen goals and made seven assists last season. He is also just the profile Inter are seeking, as a versatile player capable of dribbling in tight spaces.

However, it is certainly not as though Genoa would let Gudmundsson go for cheap.

And even if Inter don’t have to make big sales this summer, they are still operating under a tight budget. Any big signings they make must be funded with sales going the other way.

That would be the case even if Inter move for a forward other than Gudmundsson.

Inter Milan Could Offload Four Forwards To Make One More Big Signing

The first order of business for Inter will be to get rid of Joaquin Correa.

There is no doubt that the 29-year-old will be out of the picture next season. Therefore, Inter want to sort out his future one way or the other.

But offloading Correa is just the start.

Inter will also likely aim to find a new club for Valentin Carboni. Reports indicate that they are in talks with Marseille on a paid loan deal with a sizable purchase option.

Next, Inter would aim to sell Marko Aranutovic this summer.

The Austrian’s departure would make room for Gudmundsson or another forward in the squad, numerically speaking. Moreover. the 3.5 million net he’s entitled to next season being shifted off the wage bill would not hurt in a pursuit of a forward.

Lastly, Inter will aim to sell striker Martin Satriano. They are hoping for 10 million for the Uruguayan – but would likely settle for 6-7 million.

The likes of Stuttgart, Real Betis, and Valencia have all registered an interest in the 23-year-old’s signature. And Brest reportedly want to sign him permanently after having him on loan last season.
