Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano has agreed on a transfer to join Ligue 1 side Brest on a permanent basis.

This according to French outlet ParlonsBrest. They report that it is now only a matter of time before the Uruguayan completes the 6 million move.

23-year-old Uruguayan international striker Satriano spent last season on loan with Brest in Ligue 1.

The Inter striker scored four goals and made four assists in Ligue 1. He made a total of 33 appearances in the league.

And Brest reached a surprise qualification for the Champions League, finishing third in the table.

Satriano has in fact been on loan at Brest twice. He had previously spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan with the French club.

And during the 2022-23 campaign, Satriano had been out on loan with Empoli in Serie A.

Inter’s aim this summer has been to capitalize on the Uruguayan’s last season and sell him.

There were a few possible destinations for Satriano that emerged.

The likes of Stuttgart, Real Betis, and Valencia all registered an interest in the 23-year-old’s signature.

Inter Striker Martin Satriano Says Yes To Join Brest Permanently

However, Brest moved to bring Satriano back on a permanent basis.

The French club are keen to keep their squad together from last season as they approach the new challenge of life in the Champions League.

Therefore, the negotiations between Brest and Inter have been ongoing.

The Ligue 1 side have made an offer that has convinced the Nerazzurri.

Brest are ready to pay a fee of 6 million plus add-ons for Satriano. Inter are willing to accept this figure.

The final hurdle has been for Brest to convince Satriano to return.

The 23-year-old was not initially certain of making the move to the French club on a permanent basis.

However, Satriano has now made his decision, reports ParlonsBrest. He will join Brest yet again this summer.
