Valencia and Spain Under-19 international Yarek Gasiorowski is another potential candidate as Inter Milan look to sign a defender.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Inter’s search for a defender is still ongoing.

The Nerazzurri had looked to be on the verge of completing a deal for defender Juan Cabal. However, Juventus hijacked that deal, signing the Colombian.

That left Inter back at square one, and they have been in search of a defender ever since.

The likes of Zenit St. Petersburg’s Robert Renan and Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior are reportedly among the Nerazzurri’s target.

Inter owners Oaktree Capital reportedly want to invest in a younger defender. They want to sign a player with big margins for growth and resale value.

In any event, the profile that Inter are seeking is a player capable of backing up Alessandro Bastoni on the left of the defense.

Yarek Gasiorowski Emerges On Inter Milan Defensive Shortlist

At this stage Inter are still casting a wide net in their search for a defender.

Yesterday, reports linked the Nerazzurri with a move for Dinamo Zagreb defender Mauro Perkovic.

And today, another name has been added to the list of prospective targets for Inter.

Tuttosport report that Inter are considering a move for Valencia defender Gasiorowski.

At nineteen years of age, the Spaniard would certainly be within Oaktree’s remit of signing a younger player with room to grow.

Moreover, Gasiorowski has been taking big steps into the senior game.

As Tuttosport note, the teenager started in five of Valencia’s last six matches of last season.

The newspaper anticipate that there is a release clause worth around 15-20 million in Gasiorowski’s contract with Valencia.

And that could mean that the Spaniard is within reach for Inter as they make sales of fringe players this summer.
