Inter Milan have officially announced the appointment of Samir Handanovic as the new head coach of the club’s U17 squad.
The Nerazzurri have unveiled the full list of coaches who will take over the club’s youth sector.
This begins with Andrea Zanchetta who is now in charge of the Primavera team following his experiences with the U17 and U18 sides.
Benito Carbone will inherit the reins at the U18 level, while Juan Solivellas Vidal will be at the helm of the U16 team.
Moreover, Simone Fautario will be in charge of the U15 side.
But the most high-profile appointment is certainly Handanovic who will launch his coaching career with Inter’s U17 squad.

Inter Milan Appoint Samir Handanovic As The Club’s New U17 Coach
Handanovic is a retired goalkeeper who almost spent his entire playing career in Italian football.
The Slovenian made the move from Udinese to Inter in 2012, arriving as a replacement for Julio Cesar.
The custodian immediately cemented himself as a stalwart between the posts at San Siro. He eventually inherited the captain’s armband following Mauro Icardi’s controversial demeanor in 2019.
Handanovic remained loyal to the Nerazzurri until his retirement last summer.
After hanging his gloves, he served as a scout for the Italian champions last season, but will now have the opportunity to prove his managerial skills, albeit at the youth level.
