West Ham United are keen on signing Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri certainly would not consider offers of less than 25 million for the 23-year-old.

Inter signed Bisseck last summer from Danish club Aarhus.

Even at a fee of 7 million, the move for the German Under-21 captain represented something of a gamble for the Nerazzurri.

Bisseck had certainly shown signs of his quality before joining Inter.

However, these came in the Danish top flight and at youth team level. It was never certain that Bisseck would be able to smoothly make the step up to a level as high as Serie A.

At the start of last season, Bisseck barely played.

This was due to the 23-year-old needing a period to settle in, grow, and adjust to his new team in training.

But in the late autumn, Bisseck started getting opportunities in the Inter first team. And he took them with both hands.

The German’s performances starting in November of last year showed that Inter’s gamble in signing him had paid off.

West Ham Keen On Yann Bisseck – Inter Would Demand Fee Of At Least 25M

FCIN note that in just twelve months, Bisseck’s value has skyrocketed.

Inter would certainly not consider bids of any less than 25 million. In reality, they would likely expect more.

Considering that Bisseck has become a key tactical piece in Inter’s defensive depth, the Nerazzurri would be reluctant to part with him.

Nevertheless, Bisseck’s cresting performances have attracted transfer interest.

And FCIN name one particular club from the Premier League who are keen on signing the German.

The outlet report that West Ham United have identified Bisseck as a serious defensive target.

However, Inter would be tough to convince. They see Bisseck as an important part of their project going forward, so there is no doubt that a sizable offer would be required to even begin negotiations.
