Lazio are ready to go head-to-head with Inter Milan to sign out-of-favour Juventus forward Federico Chiesa this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggerio, via FCInterNews. They do however report that the 26-year-old’s wages could be an issue for the Biancocelesti.
Chiesa’s future now looks to be clearly away from Juventus.
Whether it is this summer, or next summer when his contract with the Old Lady expires, Chiesa will join a new club.
The Bianconeri have made it explicitly clear that the Italian international is not part of their project under new coach Thiago Motta.
