Juventus star Federico Chiesa must make a career-defining decision amid growing speculation linking him with a blockbuster switch to Inter Milan.

According to La Repubblica, as reported by FCInterNews, Chiesa can either accept approaches from non-Champions League participants or run down his contract in Turin.

Inter are reportedly contemplating a shock swoop for the Italy international.

However, the Serie A giants would only sign the ex-Fiorentina winger on favourable terms, preferably when his contract expires next summer.

After being deemed surplus to requirements by new Juventus manager Thiago Motta, Chiesa must find a quick solution for his future.

He has drawn enquiries from Al-Ahli and Besiktas. Meanwhile, Napoli and Roma are the most viable domestic candidates to sign the Bianconeri misfit.

Therefore, Chiesa has several options. He can embrace the riches of Turkey and Saudi Arabia or stay in Italy for a modest salary.

Inter are patiently waiting in the wings, ready to offer him another alternative.

Federico Chiesa Future in Limbo as Inter Milan Wait Around The Corner

Despite his recent struggles at Juventus, Chiesa is still a top player.

He’d be a massive coup for Inter, especially amid Simone Inzaghi’s ongoing search for a new forward.

Strapped for cash, the Giuseppe Meazza outfit cannot meet Juventus’ €25 million asking price.

Instead, they’d ideally sign the 26-year-old on a free transfer next summer.

That’s unlikely to happen, considering the Turin heavyweights are pushing for an immediate sale.

But it’s all up to Chiesa now. With less than 12 months left to run on his deal at the Allianz Stadium, he holds all the aces.

He could stay on the sidelines for a year if Juventus fail to find him a suitable accommodation in the coming weeks.

If Chiesa decides to go, Inter would undoubtedly be his most desired landing spot.
