Former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has been offered to Inter Milan and Juventus on a free transfer.

This according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb. They report that at the moment the Frenchman’s wage demands of 5 million net per season would be too high for both clubs.

28-year-old former Monaco striker Martial is available on a free transfer this summer.

Martial’s contract with Manchester United ran out at the end of June.

And as of this point, the Frenchman is still looking for a new club.

Martial joined United from Monaco in the summer of 2015. But he gradually fell out of favour at Old Trafford, with playing time becoming increasingly hard to come by in recent seasons.

Martial also spent half a season on loan with Sevilla.

The 28-year-old has yet to make a decision on his future, but according to Sevilla his representatives are sounding out the possibility of a big Serie A move for him.

Anthony Martial Offered To Inter & Juventus On Free Transfer

According to TMW, Martial’s agents have contacted both Inter and Juventus.

The Frenchman’s representatives have made clear that he would be happy to join either of the Italian giants.

In Inter’s case, there is a sense that the Nerazzurri could still sign one more forward before the end of the summer transfer window.

Inter currently have four senior forwards in the squad. Mehdi Taremi joins Lautaro Martinez, Mehdi Taremi, and Marko Arnautovic.

Then, Joaquin Correa is still at the San Siro. However, the Nerazzurri are widely expected to offload the Argentine this summer even if it means agreeing a contract termination.

If Inter were to offload Correa and Arnautovic, then they could potentially move for Martial.

Meanwhile, Juventus are still in the process of building a new attack for coach Thiago Motta.

According to TMW, as things stand Martial’s wage demands are 5 million net per season.

Both the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri would consider that excessive.
