Leganes are not interested in signing out-of-favour Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano, while Real Valladolid would face difficulties doing so.

This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. The outlet anticipate that a move to La Liga could be tricky for the 23-year-old.

Uruguayan international striker Satriano is a player whose future currently looks up in the air.

One thing that appears clear is that Satriano will not be at Inter come the end of the transfer window.

The 23-year-old hardly has a place in the Nerazzurri’s plans going forward.

But less clear is where Satriano will end up.

The Uruguayan spent last season on loan with Brest in Ligue 1. It was a positive season both for the striker, and for Brest as a whole, as the Breton secured a shock qualification for the Champions League.

Therefore, it has not been too surprising to see Brest show an interest in signing Satriano on a permanent basis this summer.

The French club are keen to keep the squad from last season together.

And Brest have found an agreement with Inter on a deal. They are reportedly ready to pay around 6-7 million to sign Satriano permanently from Inter.

However, Satriano himself has yet to open up to the deal. The 23-year-old’s priority lies elsewhere.

Leganes Not Interested In Martin Satriano – Real Valladolid Face Difficulties

FCIN confirm that Satriano’s real priority would be to secure a move to Spain.

That would be the Uruguayan’s preference – even with Brest having Champions League football to offer next season, and a familiar environment.

However, at the moment there are no obvious destinations in the Spanish top flight for Satriano.

There were one or two rumours that Leganes could be interested in bringing Satriano in.

However, according to FCIN, Leganes have in fact not made so much as an exploratory contact regarding the 23-year-old.

Meanwhile, Real Valladolid have sounded out a move for Satriano.

However, it would be difficult for Valladolid to sign Satriano as things stand. That is because of the difficulties they face with finances and league regulations.

At the moment, Valladolid would not even be able to register new signings.

Moreover, financially a deal would be difficult for Valladolid even if they are able to get approval to register new signings.

Inter want to sell Satriano permanently this summer. They do not want to loan the Uruguayan out again.

And the Nerazzurri would be seeking a fee around the 6-7 million amount that they agreed with Brest.

There would be little chance of Valladolid being able to afford a deal at that price.

Therefore, at the moment it is not clear how Satriano will be able to get his desired move to La Liga.

Prior to last season at Brest, Satriano had spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Empoli.

And in the season prior to that, the Uruguayan had been at Brest for the first time over the second half of the campaign. He’d spent the first half with the Inter first team, though he received little playing time.
