Ermanno Feliciani will be the referee for Inter Milan’s first match of the 2024/2025 Serie A season away to Genoa.

The Lega Serie A confirm the entire refereeing crew for the match, via FCInterNews. Aleandro Di Paolo will be on VAR duty for the clash.

This Saturday, Inter begin their new Serie A season.

Expectations are high, as the Nerazzurri come into the campaign as the defending champions.

Inter did not just win the league title last season. They did so in dominant fashion.

Nearly twenty points separated the Nerazzurri and AC Milan – their city rivals and the closest team to catching them in the Serie A table.

That certainly does not mean, however, that there is any reason for Inter to be complacent.

The Nerazzurri know that the teams around them have strengthened.

Major rivals like Milan, Juventus, Atalanta, and Napoli have made notable signings.

But Inter have also made a couple of big signings this summer transfer window as well. Of particular note are the arrivals of Mehdi Taremi and Piotr ZIelinski on free transfers.

Inter’s first match of the new campaign is in Liguria.

The Nerazzurri face a Genoa team who they beat at home last season – but drew away at the Marassi.

Therefore, Inter will know that they can take nothing for granted on Saturday.

Ermanno Feliciani To Referee Inter Vs Genoa Serie A Opener

The referee for Saturday’s match will be Ermanno Feliciani.

Assisting Feliciani in his duties will be Alessandro Costanzo and Matteo Passeri.

The role of the fourth official, meanwhile, will fall to Antonio Rapuano.

In the VAR booth, Aleandro Di Paolo will oversee the match to ensure to correct any errors by the on-pitch officials.

Assisting Di Paolo in his duties will be Marco Guida.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
