Inter Milan will reportedly finance the transfer of Argentine youngster Tomas Palacios by selling Martin Satriano to Lens.

The Nerazzurri have set their sights on the Tallares defender. They have been on the lookout for a young left-footed centre-back, and the Argentina U20 starlet happens to tick all the boxes.

As reported earlier today, the Serie A giants will finalize the transfer in the coming days. They have beaten competition from all over Europe to win the young man’s favor.

The operation was slightly complicated by the fact that Palacios is currently on loan at Independiente Rivadavia. The latter club has an option to buy 50% of his contract at the end of the year, and the remaining half in December 2025.

Nevertheless, the Nerazzurri have managed to find the right formula with the two Argentinian clubs. Inter will thus splash 6.5 million euros in addition to a sell-on fee worth 10% on a future resale.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Italian champions will raise funds for Palacios by selling Satriano.

The 23-year-old striker has no place in Simone Inzaghi’s plans for next season. He finds himself behind four or five attackers in the pecking order.

Nevertheless, the Uruguay international has apparently found himself a new club. He should soon complete a transfer to Lens.

The Ligue 1 side will pay one million euros as loan fees this summer. They will have an obligation to buy the striker for 5 million euros, while Inter will also reserve a 20% sell-on fee.

Hence, the sum is almost identical to the Palacios operation, so the Nerazzurri will be able to balance the books.

Brest were hoping to maintain Satriano’s services following last season’s loan spell. Nevertheless, the player has been eyeing a more prestigious destination.
