Inter Milan are not intimidated by Juventus despite the early warning shots the Bianconeri have fired in the Serie A title race.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They suggest that the Nerazzurri’s clear tactical identity gives them confidence and security at the top.

Juventus were always likely to be one of Inter’s main rivals for the Serie A title this season, if not the biggest one.

The Bianconeri have had an ambitious summer. They replaced Max Allegri with Thiago Motta as coach, and splashed the cash in the transfer market.

Therefore, Juventus will be hoping that they can keep up with Inter at the top after badly running out of gas in the second half of last season’s title race.

Inter Not Intimidated By Juventus In Serie A Despite Early Warning Shots

The very early signs from the Bianconeri suggest that they can be a force to be reckoned with in Serie A.

Motta’s team are the only side to take six points from six at the start of the Serie A season.

That means that Juventus are already two points ahead of Inter, who slipped up with a draw in their opening match against Genoa.

The Old Lady are the team to have set the pace early on rather than the team that won last season’s title in dominant fashion.

But Inter are not going to get intimidated.

The Nerazzurri have spent three seasons growing into the team they are today.

There have certainly been ups and downs. But the Nerazzurri have grown from the setbacks and struggles.

A run to the Champions League final. In which they went toe-to-toe with Manchester City despite narrowly losing, really seemed to crystalize this Inter team’s principles of play and identity.

Now, the Nerazzurri have a squad full of players who know the system well. And they have the belief, from evidence, that if they play their football, the results will come consistently.

Inter are ready to patiently wait for Juventus to stumble.

So far it has been all positivity from the Bianconeri. But they have not had to react to any major setbacks.

Inter believe that they are still the team to beat because they have already been here before.
