Inter Milan have now learned the identities of their Champions League group-stage opponents following Thursday’s draw.

The Nerazuzzuri were placed in Pot 1 along with the clubs who boast the highest nine coefficients in the UEFA rankings.

In the new format, each club is pitted against two different opponents from each pot, while all 36 participants are placed within the same table.

The first eight will qualify directly to the Round of 16. On the other hand, those who finish between the 9th and 24th place will take part in a play-off round.

The semi-automated draw has pitted the Nerazzurri against several tough opponents. This includes Premier League winners Manchester City and their runners-up Arsenal.
