Inter Milan Confirm Nose Surgery For Nicolo Barella “A Perfect Success”

Barella had already scheduled his operation for today. Not coincidentally, this coincides with the beginning of the international break.

Therefore, the 27-year-old will have plenty of time to rest and recover.

Barella did not receive a call-up for the Italy international team during the break.

Under ordinary circumstances, Azzurri coach Luciano Spalletti would certainly have included the Inter midfielder. Barella remains a key player for his national team.

However, the 27-year-old agreed on the timing of the operation with both Inter and Italy.

Now, Barella will take the coming days to recover from the operation.

Because the procedure was a relatively non-invasive one, the recovery time will not be long.

However, Barella will not be able to make an immediate return to training.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi expects those members of the squad not on international duty to be back in training on Thursday. Barella will not be among the players training, however.

Naturally, the Italian international cannot risk any contact that would disrupt the healing from his surgery.

Reports indicate that in the meantime, Barella will train individually to maintain his physical condition.

However, Inter have confirmed that a return to training is not far away for Barella.

The Nerazzurri state in the announcement that the midfielder will be back in training next week.
