Inter Milan star Alessandro Bastoni is reportedly fit enough to start for Italy in tomorrow’s encounter against France.

The Azzurri will kickstart their UEFA Nations League campaign with a clash against their neighbors across the Alpes.

The big tilt will take place at Le Parc des Princes in Paris.

According to Sky Sport Italia via FcInterNews, Luciano Spalletti is now planning to rely on Bastoni from the get-go following a swift recovery from injury.

The Nerazzurri defender suffered a physical problem during his side’s rampant 4-0 win over Atalanta last Friday.

The 25-year-old left his place on the pitch for Carlos Augusto at the hour mark.

Nevertheless, Bastoni has apparently made a speedy recovery and could earn himself a starting spot.

The source thus expects Bastoni to start at the center of the back three, in between Alessandro Buongiorno and Riccardo Calafiori. Italy captain Gianluigi Donnarumma will start between the sticks.

Inter Milan stalwart Federico Dimarco should retain his place on the left flank. New Atatanta signing Raoul Bellanova should operate on the opposite.

The Nerazzurri will have a third representative in the starting lineup in the shape of Davide Frattesi. The latter should join Torino’s Matteo Ricci and the returning Sandro Tonali in the middle of the park.

Like Bastoni, Fiorentina striker Moise Kean is also showing promising signs and could return to action in time.

However, Spalletti could still prefer Mateo Retegui and Giacomo Raspadori upfront.
