Inter Milan fell to their first defeat of the season against AC Milan.
The Nerazzurri had won the previous six editions of the derby against their city rivals.
However, this time around the Rossoneri had Inter’s number.
Milan were able to find the back of the net early through Christian Pulisic. Then, Federico Dimarco got Inter back on level terms before halftime.
In the second half, Milan had a number of good chances to score.
But it was an unlikely scorer for the Rossoneri in the end. Defender Matteo Gabbia popped up in the closing stages to head home the winner.
Midfielder Piotr Zielinski made his third ever appearance for Inter in the derby.
