AC Milan handed Inter Milan their first defeat of the season.

The Nerazzurri had won the last six editions of the derby against their city rivals. But they were outplayed and fell to a 2-1 loss in Serie A.

Milan went ahead early through Christian Pulisic. Then, Inter found a response as Federico Dimarco equalized.

As football stats account Opta pointed out in a tweet, Pulisic’s goal was the first time in a while that Milan have scored early in the derby.
